Domaine Prieuré-Roch is one of Burgundy's most singular and sought-after estates, founded by the late Henry-Frédéric Roch and farmed biodynamically with a fearless, non-interventionist philosophy. This Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru comes from old vines and shows all the nobility and power for which the village is known.
A characterful, naturally made Pinot Noir, it offers ripe cherry and wild berry fruit, with violets, spice, iron and earthy, savoury complexity. The palate is full-bodied, dense and structured, with energy, fine minerality and a long, layered finish.
A distinctive wine built for the cellar, it will reward patience. Serve with game, roast beef, duck and mushroom dishes.
