Domaine Dujac is one of the benchmark producers in Burgundy's Côte de Nuits, and this village-level Morey-Saint-Denis beautifully captures the character of a commune that sits between the elegance of Chambolle-Musigny and the power of Gevrey-Chambertin. Farmed organically and biodynamically, the estate is renowned for its signature whole-bunch fermentation approach.
A high proportion of whole clusters are fermented with indigenous yeasts before the wine is aged for 14–18 months in French oak barrels. The result is an expressive, medium-bodied Pinot Noir with aromas of plums, wild strawberries and Morello cherries layered with orange zest and spice. The palate is creamy and fresh with fine, slightly grainy tannins and vibrant acidity carrying the wine to a long, spice-tinged finish.
