Ciavolich Fosso Cancelli Trebbiano d'Abruzzo 2024 750ml
Ciavolich is a historic Abruzzo producer in central Italy, and Fosso Cancelli is its flagship expression of Trebbiano d'Abruzzo. A characterful, textural white, it captures the savoury, mineral side of the variety with genuine depth and personality.
Straw-yellow in the glass, it offers delicate aromas of white flowers, yellow peach and apricot alongside chamomile, preserved lemon and gentle herbal notes. The palate is fresh and sapid, medium to full-bodied with a waxy, saline texture, bright citrus and a pithy, almost chewy firmness that lingers on a long, earthy finish.
Both elegant and food-friendly, it makes a fine partner for seafood, poultry and richer vegetable dishes.
