Sited in the far northwest corner of Nuits-St-Georges, bordering Vosne, Les Damodes spans the upper to mid-slope, on a skin of poor limestone over the hard limestone bedrock. “Mid purple, crushed strawberry, discreet though from this site. A fine weight of flavour here, while the vinification style is more evident than Nuits-St-Georges, though again this is Damodes higher on the hill.”
