Aux Chaignots is situated directly under the gravelly Les Damodes on the hillside, and the soils are equally stony, with plenty of fine gravel washed down by in the past by the little river Meuzin. Much like the Domaine’s Les Damodes, it’s a wine that showcases the elegant, ‘Vosne’ side of the Nuits-St-Georges spectrum. The vines were planted in the 1990s. Negocé.
