Domaine Yann Chave is a family estate based in Mercurol, in the northern Rhône. Yann Chave farms the family's vineyards organically and has built a reputation for Crozes-Hermitage that balances generous fruit with freshness and finesse.
This Crozes-Hermitage is made from Syrah grown across several plots in the appellation, including sites around Mercurol, La Roche-de-Glun and Pont-de-l'Isère. It shows ripe blackberry and cassis with violets, liquorice, wild herbs and a touch of spice, supported by dense but fine tannins that give it good structure.
A great match for grilled lamb, sausages, duck or a hearty cassoulet.
