The plots of Grand Cru Les Clos are from the upper part of the hill and typically, the Les Clos from this section is more restrained and requires more time to develop.
The 2023 Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru comes from a 0.10-hectare parcel at the top of the slope from 60-year-old vines that produce one barrel. This is very complex and fragrant on the nose, with lemon thyme, crushed stone, shucked oyster shell and a touch of honeysuckle. The palate is taut and fresh with a fine bead of acidity that cuts through this concentrated Les Clos. Vibrant and penetrating on the finish, it is an intellectual as well as sensory Chablis that should age with style
