Joh. Jos. Prüm is one of Germany's most revered wine estates, a Mosel institution whose Rieslings are prized around the world for their purity, delicacy and extraordinary capacity to age. The wines are drawn from some of the finest sites along the steep, slate slopes of the Middle Mosel.
This Spätlese comes from the Zeltinger Sonnenuhr, a celebrated south-facing vineyard named for the sundial that marks its slopes. Made in the estate's classic gently sweet style, it balances ripe fruit against a racy spine of acidity that keeps everything bright and weightless.
Expect delicate aromas of white peach, apple and citrus, lifted by floral notes and the crushed-stone minerality of Mosel slate. Filigreed and finely poised on the palate, it is a joy to drink young yet will reward many years in the cellar.
