Génot-Boulanger is a family-run Meursault domaine working across a remarkable patchwork of premier and grand cru sites in the Côte de Beaune and the Côte Chalonnaise. Les Meix Chavaux is a village-level lieu-dit just above Meursault itself, on the limestone-rich slopes that give the village its characteristic richness and saline cut.
The 2022 is fermented with native yeasts and aged in a careful mix of mostly seasoned oak, drawing texture without overshadowing the fruit. Aromas of bright citrus, white flowers, dried honey and crushed stone lead into a palate that's quietly creamy yet pulled tight by Meursault's signature mineral line. The finish is long, lifted and beautifully balanced.
An excellent food wine for roast chicken, lobster with butter, creamy pasta dishes or a sharp aged cheddar.
