A light citrus aroma slowly develops in the glass into notes of asparagus, pears and soft toast. The mouth is very colourful with the wine being very soft and velvety on the palate, with a wide range of exotic fruits. The multi-layered nature of the wine allows each subsequent sip to discover new notes. All this is wrapped in an elegant harmony, the finish is long and extremely chalky. The 2023 Meursault Les Casses-Têtes has a little more race and energy compared to the Meursault Village. The palate is energetic on the entry, with hints of walnut and almond and a satisfying sense of harmony towards the finish.
