Domaine Jean Grivot is one of the great names of Vosne-Romanée, a family estate prized for refined, terroir-faithful Burgundy. Les Bossières is a single parcel of old vines just east of the village, giving a village Vosne-Romanée with extra depth and personality.
This is a savoury, finely detailed Pinot Noir, with aromas of black cherry, blueberry and red berries, lifted by spice, smoke and a gentle earthy note. The palate is silky and fresh, with fine acidity, a saline tang and a long, elegant finish.
A characterful Vosne that drinks well now and will develop further, it pairs wonderfully with duck, game, mushroom dishes and soft cheeses.
