Domaine Jean Grivot is one of the most respected estates of Vosne-Romanée, renowned for refined, terroir-faithful Burgundy. Les Pruliers is a fine Premier Cru in Nuits-Saint-Georges, giving a wine with the firmer structure and savoury depth that define the village.
This is a concentrated yet elegant Pinot Noir, with aromas of ripe black cherry and wild berry, violet and incense, underpinned by a smoky, mineral core. The palate is broad and layered, with fine-grained tannins, vibrant acidity and a spicy, persistent finish.
Built for the cellar, it will develop wonderfully over the coming years. Serve with game, roast beef, duck and mushroom dishes.
