Domaine Corcia is a young family estate in Mercurey, in Burgundy's Côte Chalonnaise. The Corcia family took over the former Domaine de la Vieille Fontaine in 2021; Alain Corcia brings more than 35 years of experience in the Burgundy trade, while his son Raphaël runs the vineyards and the cellar, converting the vines to organic farming with cover crops and hand canopy management.
This Bourgogne Pinot Noir is the domaine's entry point to its red wines, made with the same approach as its single-vineyard bottlings, including some whole-bunch fermentation and long macerations. Expect a bright, fruit-led Pinot Noir with red cherry and berry notes, gentle spice and fine, supple tannins, showing the freshness typical of the Côte Chalonnaise.
An easy match for roast chicken, pork, salmon or charcuterie, and well suited to drinking young.
Vintages may vary. Email us at hello@barrelandbatch.com.au if you would like confirmation.
