Domaine Collotte Marsannay Vieilles Vignes 2024 750ml
Domaine Collotte is a family estate in Marsannay, the northern gateway to Burgundy's Côte de Nuits and its only village to produce red, white and rosé under its own appellation. This Vieilles Vignes cuvée comes from the domaine's older Pinot Noir vines, whose naturally lower yields deliver added concentration and depth.
Bright ruby with subtle garnet tints, it opens with layered, expressive aromas of red cherry, blackberry and wild strawberry, woven through with violet, gentle spice and a savoury, earthy note.
The palate is structured and persistent, with sustained red-fruit flavour carried on fine, supple tannins. It drinks well in its youth yet has the balance to reward a few years in the cellar.
