Vincent Girardin is a respected name in Meursault, producing a range of Côte de Beaune wines with a focus on purity and freshness. The Cuvée Saint Vincent, named for the patron saint of winemakers, is the house's Bourgogne Blanc and a reliable introduction to its white wine style.
Made entirely from hand-harvested Chardonnay, the wine is aged on fine lees in oak barrels, with only a small proportion of new wood so that the fruit stays in focus. Aromas of apple, pear and citrus zest mingle with white flowers and a gentle touch of vanilla, leading to a crisp, mineral palate with a soft, creamy texture and a refreshing citrus finish.
Serve at 10 to 12°C as an aperitif or with grilled fish, chicken salads, soft cheeses or seafood pasta.
Vintages may vary. Email us at hello@barrelandbatch.com.au if you would like confirmation.
