From Tapanappa, the family estate established in 2002 by Brian and Ann Croser, pioneers of the modern Adelaide Hills wine region. Tapanappa is built around the philosophy of producing fine wine from 'Distinguished Sites': single vineyards expressing a uniquely Australian sense of place. Brian, who founded Petaluma in 1976, is a hugely influential figure in Australian fine wine.
100% Riesling sourced from the Eden Valley, one of Australia's most respected cool-climate Riesling regions, perched on the eastern ridges of the Barossa. The cuvée was first introduced when Brian Croser revisited Eden Valley fruit for the first time in around 40 years. Expect a delicate, aromatic wine with lifted notes of jasmine, white flowers, lime and bath salts, leading into a precise, mineral-edged palate with sharp citrus, exemplary acidity and a long, textural finish.
Hand-picked and gently handled in the Croser family's Piccadilly Valley winery, with cool fermentation to preserve fruit purity and aromatic detail. Bottled to retain the wine's freshness and capacity to age.
