Pierre Girardin's village Puligny-Montrachet is sourced from two lieux-dits — Les Charmes and Les Corvées des Vignes — within this celebrated appellation on the Côte de Beaune. At just 25, Girardin has already established himself as one of Burgundy's most exciting young producers, working from 4.5 hectares inherited from his father Vincent.
Farmed organically and vinified with indigenous yeasts in Girardin's signature 456-litre barrels (50% new) — designed to reduce oak influence — the wine spends 12 months in barrel followed by 7 months in stainless steel. Unfined and unfiltered, this is a pure, mineral-driven Chardonnay with the precision and finesse that define Puligny at its best.
