Clos Reland is a classified Premier Cru climat in Chassagne-Montrachet and a newer addition to Pierre Girardin's range, first appearing with the 2023 vintage. Girardin, one of Burgundy's most exciting young talents, farms organically and vinifies with minimal intervention from his cellar in Meursault.
Fermented with indigenous yeasts in Girardin's signature 456-litre barrels — designed to reduce oak influence — the Chardonnay is bottled unfined and unfiltered. Pure and mineral-driven with the textural depth that Chassagne's Premier Crus are prized for, this is a compelling debut bottling from a vineyard that showcases Girardin's expanding range across the Côte de Beaune.
