The famous Mount Edelstone vineyard is now farmed organically and biodynamically, and seems to improve with each and every vintage. Remove Hill of Grace from the equation, and Henschke would still have one of Australia's greatest Shiraz.
An almost complete, beautifully balanced wine even at this young stage. Black fruit, wild herbs, liquorice are at the aromatic forefront. Plum, blackberry and spicy wood notes develop on the palate, and the tannins are sensationally satiny.
