Domaine Leflaive is one of the most revered names in white Burgundy and a pioneer of biodynamic viticulture in the region. La Jobeline is a new addition to the range, produced from a dedicated parcel in the Macon-Verze area of the Maconnais following the estate's acquisition of Domaine de la Jobeline.
Made entirely from Chardonnay, this is a beautifully judged wine that shows the precision Leflaive is known for in a welcoming style. It offers aromas of citrus, white orchard fruit and subtle floral notes, with a fine, chalky minerality drawn from the limestone soils. The palate is fresh and nicely textured, with gentle richness balanced by bright acidity and a clean, persistent finish.
Fermented largely in tank with a portion in oak and aged on its lees, it is an elegant, versatile white that drinks well now and over the next few years.
