A Grand Cru red Burgundy from Domaine Perrot-Minot in Morey-Saint-Denis. The estate, with roots dating to the late 1800s through the Merme family, has been run by Christophe Perrot-Minot since 1993. It farms 13 hectares across the Côte de Nuits organically, with a style built on low yields, late harvests and polished, high-toned Pinot Noir.
100% Pinot Noir from old vines in the Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru, one of the Grands Crus on the south side of Gevrey-Chambertin. Expect a rich, complex Grand Cru with layered dark fruit, violet, spice and a fine earthy-mineral undertone, leading into a powerful yet elegant palate with silky tannins, great concentration and a long, age-worthy finish.
Hand-harvested, carefully sorted and vinified with gentle extraction, then aged in French oak barrels before bottling with minimal intervention.
