Domaine Louis Chenu Père et Filles is a fifth-generation family estate in Savigny-lès-Beaune, farmed by sisters Caroline and Juliette Chenu since 2003 and certified organic. The Vieilles Vignes bottling draws on two of the estate's finest village parcels: Les Picotins (between Savigny and Chorey) and Les Golardes (top of the slope, south-facing).
A village Savigny-lès-Beaune made from old-vine Pinot Noir across these two contrasting sites. Expect a complete, classically proportioned village Burgundy — lifted red cherry, raspberry and delicate floral notes, with the earthy, savoury undertones of Savigny and a firm, fresh structure built to reward a few years in the cellar.
Hand-harvested and destemmed, with a short cold soak and fermentation on natural yeasts. Matured in French oak barrels, with just enough new wood to add nuance while preserving fruit purity.
