The 2022 Chablis Montée de Tonnerre 1er Cru, which was taken from vat, has a very clever reduction on the nose, fine delineation and concentration. Touches of yellow fruit and beeswax emerge with time in the glass. The palate is well balanced with a crisp bead of acidity. Not quite as saline as Deplessis’ other cuvées, but it has a charming, tropical tinged finish that leaves you seduced
