From Domaine de la Vougeraie, the Boisset family's prestigious estate based in Premeaux-Prissey between the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune. Founded in 1999 to bring together the finest Burgundian vineyard holdings the Boisset group had acquired since 1964, the domaine today farms around 44 hectares spread across more than 30 appellations and is certified organic, with biodynamic principles applied throughout the vineyards.
A Premier Cru Beaune from Les Grèves, a renowned slope-side site on the calcareous hills above the town of Beaune. 100% Pinot Noir, farmed biodynamically. Expect a rounded, generous wine with red fruit, gentle spice and a smooth, succulent texture characteristic of the appellation, with the freshness and persistence to develop in bottle.
Whole-bunch fermentation, aged in French oak barrels followed by a short period in stainless steel before bottling.
