Domaine Corcia is a family estate in Mercurey, in the Côte Chalonnaise, taken over by the Corcia family in 2021 from the former Domaine de la Vieille Fontaine. Alain Corcia brings more than three decades in the Burgundy trade, while his son Raphaël manages the vines and the winemaking, farming organically with cover crops and hand canopy management.
Les Petits Champs Ronds is a small plot of around a third of a hectare at the foot of Mercurey near the old quarry, planted in 1970. It is the youngest vine selection in the domaine's range, yet it is handled with the same care as the village and premier cru wines. This Bourgogne Chardonnay shows fresh orchard fruit and citrus over a clean, mineral line, offering an approachable introduction to the estate's white wines.
Serve lightly chilled with grilled fish, roast chicken, goat's cheese or creamy pasta dishes.
Vintages may vary. Email us at hello@barrelandbatch.com.au if you would like confirmation.
