Domaine Confuron-Cotetidot is one of the classic producers of Burgundy. They have been vignerons since the 17th century under the reign of Lous XIV when their specialty was, and continues to be today, vine selection and propogation. In fact, they even have a clone of Pinot Noir named after them: Pinot Confuron. The estate is run by Yves Confuron with the help of his oenologist brother, Jack, and their parents, Jacky and Bernadette, who still work the vines as they have their whole lives. These vines average 65 years of age and have never seen any chemical herbicide or pesticide treatment.
