Le Cellier Saint Benoît is a small, family-run estate in the village of Pupillin, in France's distinctive Jura region. Now led by Benjamin Benoit, who trained in Burgundy and beyond, the domaine farms its parcels with care and a growing commitment to organic practices.
La Marcette is a single-parcel Chardonnay grown on Triassic marl soils. Whole-bunch pressed, fermented with wild yeasts and matured in older barrels, it is made in a pure, terroir-focused style. Expect citrus and orchard fruit, white flowers and a gentle nuttiness, framed by a chalky minerality and bright, fresh acidity.
A characterful, food-friendly white, it pairs beautifully with poultry, white fish, soft cheeses and creamy dishes.
