Cascina Luisin is a small, traditional estate in Barbaresco, farmed by the Minuto family for well over a century. Sorì Paolin is one of the estate's prized sites, and this bottling is a pure expression of Nebbiolo grown on a favoured, sun-blessed slope.
Made in the classic Piedmontese style with long macerations and ageing in large casks, it is a fragrant and refined Barbaresco. Look for aromas of rose, cherry and wild berry, lifted by spice, dried mint and a hint of tar. The palate is elegant and firm, with bright acidity, finely integrated tannins and a long, persistent finish.
Drinking well now and built to age, it is a natural match for braised meats, risotto, mushroom dishes and aged cheeses.
