Domaine Camille et Guillaume Boillot is a young, family-run estate based in Meursault, launched in the early 2020s by Guillaume Boillot and his wife Camille. Guillaume is the son of Henri Boillot and spent years vinifying at the family estate, while Camille is the fifth generation of a Pommard winemaking family. Together they focus largely on whites from the Cote de Beaune, and this Meursault from the Les Vireuils lieu-dit sits on the higher slopes of the village, where cooler ground gives the wine cut and freshness.
Made from Chardonnay, this is a classic Meursault in character: ripe orchard and stone fruit, a touch of toasted hazelnut and a creamy texture balanced by bright acidity and a gently saline finish. It is generous yet poised, with the structure to develop in bottle.
Pour it with roast chicken, pork, richer fish dishes or creamy cheeses. A large white-wine glass and a few degrees above fridge temperature will show it at its best.
