Camille and Guillaume Boillot are a young couple writing a new chapter in Burgundy, working from a base in Meursault and bringing together two well-rooted winemaking families. Guillaume is the son of Henri Boillot, while Camille comes from a long line of vignerons in Pommard. Their first vintage was 2022, and the Corton-Renardes Grand Cru stands among the jewels of their young range, sourced from one of the great red terroirs of the Cote de Beaune.
Made from Pinot Noir, this is a Grand Cru of energy and personality. Expect a bundle of high-toned red fruit and flowers, intense and direct, with a wild, savoury edge and a lifted, almost menthol freshness. The palate is rich and complex yet driven by energy and finesse, with the structure and depth that mark out the Renardes climat.
This is a wine for the table and for the cellar alike. Pair with roast game, duck, beef or mushroom-rich dishes, and consider giving it time to unfold. Serve at cool room temperature, decanting if opening in its youth.
