Block 8 comes from a distinct parcel within Bindi's vineyards in the Macedon Ranges, one of Australia's coolest and most highly regarded regions for Pinot Noir. The Dhillon family farms the site with great care, and each block is kept separate to express its own personality.
Compared with Bindi's other Pinots, Block 8 leans towards darker fruit and greater structure. Look for aromas of black cherry, cassis, wild raspberry and plum, layered with earthy spice, forest floor and mineral nuances. The palate is deep and concentrated, with finely woven tannins and a vibrant line of acidity carrying a long, savoury finish.
This is a serious, ageworthy Pinot Noir with the depth and framework to develop beautifully over many years in the cellar.
