Bindi is a highly regarded estate in the Macedon Ranges of Victoria, one of Australia's coolest wine regions. The family farms the site with meticulous care, producing small-batch Pinot Noir and Chardonnay that have become benchmarks for the region.
Block 5 is drawn from a single, prized block of estate vines that consistently yields wine of remarkable structure and depth. Cool-climate conditions and careful, low-intervention winemaking allow the fruit to express its site.
The wine is elegant and tightly wound, showing red and dark cherry, wild berries and subtle spice over a savoury, earthy base. Fine tannins and bright acidity give it real drive and the capacity to age gracefully.
