Vasse Felix was the first winery established in Margaret River, founded in 1967 by Dr Tom Cullity, whose pioneering plantings helped prove the region's potential for world-class Cabernet Sauvignon. The estate's flagship red carries his name as a tribute to that founding vision.
The Tom Cullity is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon with a significant portion of Malbec, sourced from the estate's oldest and finest vineyard sites and matured in French oak. It typically shows blackcurrant, blackberry and mulberry fruit layered with cedar, graphite, violets and savoury earthy notes. Fine, powdery tannins give a long, elegant structure built for the cellar.
Decant before serving and enjoy with slow-roasted lamb, aged beef or hard cheeses. With careful cellaring this wine will continue to develop over many years.
