Ten Minutes by Tractor Judd Pinot Noir 2025 750ml
Judd is the highest vineyard on the Ten Minutes by Tractor estate, reaching around 206 metres in the Main Ridge hills of the Mornington Peninsula. It also produces the most openly generous fruit of the estate's sites, which makes its Pinot Noir the plushest of the single vineyard range.
The winery was founded in 1997 by bringing together three neighbouring vineyards, Judd, McCutcheon and Wallis, each about ten minutes from the next by tractor. Main Ridge is the coolest part of the peninsula, so even the riper sites here hold onto acidity and perfume through a long, slow ripening season.
This is Pinot Noir with flesh on the bones. Dark cherry, plum and raspberry are backed by sweet spice, cured meat and a touch of forest floor, with fine, supple tannins and a long, savoury finish. It is approachable early alongside duck, lamb or mushroom dishes and will keep building for the best part of a decade.
