Stolichnaya, affectionately known as Stoli, is one of the world's most recognisable vodkas, with a heritage stretching back to 1938. Originally a Russian icon, today it is produced in Latvia from wheat and rye grain, blended with pure artesian water drawn from wells deep beneath the production site.
The spirit is distilled three times and then filtered through quartz sand, activated charcoal and woven cloth, a process that strips away impurities and leaves the vodka exceptionally clean. The result is a crystal clear pour with subtle marshmallow, mineral and fruit peel notes on the nose, a soft, supple entry, and a smooth medium palate carrying gentle pastry, citrus rind and a touch of cracked pepper through to a balanced, lightly sweet finish.
Equally at home neat over ice, in a classic Martini, a Moscow Mule or any of the great vodka cocktails, Stoli is the kind of dependable, characterful pour that has earned its place behind countless bars.
