Scapa The Orcadian Skiren + Giftbox 700ml

Released in September 2015, Scapa Skiren is a no-age-statement single malt whisky produced on the scenic Orkney mainland. Bottled at 80 proof, it undergoes exclusive maturation in first-fill American oak casks sourced from Tennessee and Kentucky.

The distillery is distinguished by its use of a barrel-shaped Lomond wash still, a rare apparatus invented in the 1950s, which is among the few remaining examples in operation today. This unique still is employed in conjunction with a pot still during the distillation process of their unpeated single malts.
