Quintodecimo was founded in 2001 by Luigi Moio, a professor of oenology whose family has made wine in Campania for generations. Based in Mirabella Eclano in the hills of Irpinia, the estate focuses on the region's native grapes, crafting wines of great intensity and clear varietal and regional character.
Giallo d'Arles is a single-vineyard Greco di Tufo from the heart of the appellation, its name a tribute to the yellow Van Gogh so loved during his time in Arles. It is partially fermented in new oak barrels and bottled without clarification treatments. Deep golden in colour, it shows layers of apricot and quince paste over a pronounced mineral core, with a full, fresh palate and a structure more often associated with red wine. It is built to mature gracefully in bottle.
Serve with richer seafood dishes, roast chicken or pork, or creamy pasta.
Vintages may vary. Email us at hello@barrelandbatch.com.au if you would like confirmation.
