The Robinson family vineyard in Tuerong has long been a source of high quality fruit for Paringa. Since 2014 we have made a single vineyard wine from the Freeway block. The clone is MV6, which develops distinctive flavours on this site. 2017 was a low yielding vintage for the Vineyards “down the hill”.
Aromas of dark cherry and spice lead onto a palate which has a solid core of dark cherry fruit, integrated with fine savoury tannins. The wine is textured and elegant with a long lingering finish.
