Louis Jadot Chablis is a classic expression of Chardonnay from Burgundy's northernmost vineyards. Crafted by one of France's most respected houses, this wine is grown on the limestone-rich Kimmeridgian soils that give Chablis its unmistakable flinty minerality. The grapes are hand-picked and gently pressed, with fermentation and ageing carried out entirely in stainless steel to preserve the wine's purity and terroir-driven character.
Bright and pristine in the glass, it opens with lemon zest, crisp green apple and delicate floral notes. The palate is refreshingly crisp with flavours of green pear, white peach and citrus, underpinned by a clean mineral backbone and bright acidity that carries through to a vibrant, satisfying finish.
A versatile food wine, it pairs beautifully with fresh oysters, lobster, shellfish, light poultry dishes and creamy cheeses such as Brie or goat's cheese.
