Koerner's Adelaide Hills Chardonnay is a precise, cool-climate expression drawn from Lenswood in the upper Adelaide Hills, where Damon and Maddy Koerner now live and base their winery. The site's elevation, cooler temperatures and complex soils lend the wine its energy, detail and mineral drive.
In the glass, expect bright citrus and green apple, white peach, a touch of stonefruit and a subtle flinty, nutty complexity, framed by refined oak and a crisp, savoury finish with gentle creaminess from lees work.
Made in Koerner's minimal-intervention style: hand-picked, gently pressed, wild-fermented in seasoned French oak, and aged on lees to build texture. Bottled without fining or filtration.
