Ngeringa 'Sheoak' Chardonnay 2025 750ml
Ngeringa is one of Australia's most committed biodynamic farms, an Adelaide Hills property of around 75 hectares run by Erinn and Janet Klein, where vines share the land with olives, orchards, vegetables and livestock. The ground has been certified biodynamic since 1993 and the first vines went in during 2001.
Ngeringa means place of sheoak, and the sheoak inside the circle on the label gives this range its name. These are the more playful, immediate wines in the portfolio, farmed and made with the same care as the single vineyard bottlings but built for drinking rather than cellaring.
The Chardonnay is bright and easygoing, with citrus and white orchard fruit, a lick of nectarine and a crisp, mineral finish. A lively, food friendly white for right now, so pour it with seafood, salads, roast chicken or a plate of soft cheese.
