Keller Westhofen Morstein GG 2024 750ml

Weingut Keller is widely regarded as one of Germany's greatest estates, and Morstein is often its most powerful and profound dry Riesling. The Morstein vineyard in Westhofen, Rheinhessen, is a steep slope of deep limestone, and this Grosses Gewachs is the grand cru dry expression of the site.

Aromatic without being showy, it is rich, deep and mouth-filling, combining citrus, stone fruit and herbal freshness with intense, rocky minerality. There is real power here but no lack of finesse, and the finish is chalky, saline and seemingly everlasting.

Fermented with wild yeasts and given long lees ageing, it is a Riesling of remarkable concentration and vitality, built for the long haul in the cellar.
