Weingut Keller is one of Germany's most revered estates, and its Rieslings from the famed Roter Hang (red slope) at Nierstein are among the most sought-after in the country. The Hipping vineyard sits on distinctive red slate and clay soils above the Rhine, and this Kabinett is its delicate, lighter-styled expression.
Bright, intense and beautifully reductive, it shows lime and orchard fruit with a spicy, saline Nierstein character. The palate is mouth-filling yet weightless, juicy and round, carried by vibrant, energetic acidity that keeps the finish fresh and long.
Featherlight and finely balanced, it drinks beautifully young but also has the structure to reward cellaring.
