Génot-Boulanger is a family-run Meursault domaine working across a remarkable patchwork of premier and grand cru sites in both the Côte de Beaune and the Côte Chalonnaise. Les Nosroyes is a village-level lieu-dit on the Meursault side of Puligny-Montrachet, on the lower, gravel-rich slopes where the soils begin to soften and the wines tend towards a slightly fuller, more generous expression.
The 2022 is finely grained and quintessentially Puligny. Crushed herbs, citrus zest, lemon flesh and a fine flinty reduction lead the nose, layered with sweet spice and crushed stone. The palate is concentrated and sleek, with a clean, salty drive and a long, elongated, gently spicy finish; impressive elegance and depth for a village-level cuvée.
Pair with simply prepared fish, butter-poached shellfish, soft cheeses or a creamy chicken dish.
