Domaine Rougeot is a five-generation family estate based in Meursault, where Marc Rougeot works alongside his sons Pierre-Henri and Alexandre across roughly 13 hectares of vines in Meursault, Monthélie, Saint-Romain, Pommard and Volnay. The vineyards have been certified organic since 2020 and are farmed biodynamically, and Pierre-Henri has built a reputation for low-intervention wines made with native yeasts and without fining or filtration.
Les Lameroses is the domaine's Bourgogne Pinot Noir, hand-harvested, sorted by hand and fermented largely as whole bunches. It shows a mid-purple colour and a lively, slightly savoury nose, followed by vivid raspberry fruit, bright acidity and a fine, silky texture that makes it a wonderfully drinkable introduction to the Rougeot style.
Serve lightly chilled alongside charcuterie, roast chicken, mushroom dishes or grilled salmon.
Vintages may vary. Email us at hello@barrelandbatch.com.au if you would like confirmation.
