Domaine Moreau-Naudet is a 26-hectare biodynamically farmed Chablis estate based in Préhy and Courgis. Stéphane Moreau took over from his father Roger in 1993 and set a minimal-intervention direction for the domaine; since his death in 2016 the estate has been run by his wife Virginie with longtime assistant 'Coco', and is twice-starred in the RVF guide.
100% Chardonnay at the Petit Chablis level, from vines on Portlandian limestone plateau soils. Expect a crisp, bright, aperitif-style white with lifted citrus, green apple and flint aromas, a clean palate and the refreshing, chalky acid line that marks all good Chablis. Easy-drinking without losing terroir expression.
Late-harvested fruit is fermented with wild yeasts in stainless steel and aged on fine lees before bottling, preserving the purity and freshness of the wine.
