Domaine Jean Grivot is one of the most respected estates of Vosne-Romanée, a family domaine renowned for refined, terroir-faithful Burgundy. This village Vosne-Romanée is drawn from vines around the famous commune and shows the elegance and perfume for which the village is celebrated.
It is a beautifully aromatic Pinot Noir, leaning towards bright red cherry and strawberry, with floral tones, a touch of cola and the gentle spice that marks Vosne. The palate is medium-bodied, taut and fresh, with fine tannins and a long, elegant finish.
Approachable yet built to develop over the next decade, it is a lovely match for duck, game, mushroom dishes and soft cheeses.
