Domaine Gilbert Picq et ses Fils is a much-loved family estate based in Chichée, just south-east of Chablis, known for transparent, terroir-driven wines. This Vieilles Vignes cuvée comes from the domaine's older vines, whose deeper roots and lower yields give a Chablis of greater concentration and texture.
Vinified without oak, with indigenous yeasts and ageing in stainless steel, it keeps the pure, mineral character that defines the estate. Expect ripe citrus and orchard fruit, white flowers and a pronounced flinty, saline minerality, all carried by racy acidity and a long, structured finish.
A more serious style of village Chablis, it pairs beautifully with richer seafood, roast chicken, creamy sauces and mature cheeses.
