Very Limited. This Domaine Bourgogne Blanc is drawn from a 0.4-hectare plot of 50-year-old vines in the lieu-dit of La Combe in Puligny-Montrachet, planted on silt, clay and limestone soils. Naturally fermented and raised with 20% new Chassin oak, the quality here is nothing short of terrific—it tastes like a baby-Puligny (as always). Just outstanding for the level.
The 2022 Bourgogne Blanc comes from vines in Puligny by Vincent’s grandfather Maurice Dureuil and is matured in 20% new oak. The neutral nose takes time to open in the glass, with touches of lime and fresh citrus fruit. The medium-bodied palate has a wonderful texture, a very good body, and depth, growing quite lively with a dab of lemongrass on the finish. As good a regional white as you will find
