From one of Burgundy's most revered monopole vineyards, the Clos de la Bousse d'Or — meaning "Golden Earth" — is a 2.14-hectare walled Premier Cru site exclusively owned by Domaine de la Pousse d'Or in the heart of Volnay. The vines, planted between 1958 and the 1970s, grow on southeast-facing limestone slopes with clay influences, delivering a wine of remarkable purity and depth.
Certified biodynamic since 2018, this Pinot Noir is hand-harvested, fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel, and aged for up to 18 months in French oak (approximately 30% new). The wine is unfined, unfiltered, and bottled by gravity. Expect fragrant red cherry, crushed raspberry and rose petal aromas with a silky, medium-bodied palate of lively red and black fruit, salty minerality, and a beautifully persistent finish.
